model used by Han Solo,
are more powerful and can penetrate the hulls of small spacecraft. Most
blasters have several settings ranging from "stun" to "kill", and all
require a power source, usually a replaceable power pack built into the
gun.

greater range and often requires two hands to fire. The most popular
model is the Blastech E-11, which is the standard weapon of Imperial
stormtroopers. The E-11 is lightweight, compact, and has a longer stock

more difficult to control. Most often these weapons are illegal and
reserved only for military use.

lightsaber. The construction of a Jedi's own lightsaber is part of
their training. A Jedi Knight, with the combination of the Force and

enemies. The blade of a lightsaber is focused through a crystal which
also controls what the color of the blade will be. A lightsaber with
multiple crystals can control the length and intensity of the
lightsaber's blade by rotating knobs on the lightsaber handle. Darth Vader's lightsaber is
an example of a lightsaber with multiple crystals.

The gaffi stick is the traditional weapon of Tusken Raiders. The
gaffi stick is usually made from scavenged metal. Each end of the staff
usually has a weapon attached to it, most often a double-edged ax blade
and a spiked, weighted club. Tuskens use gaffi sticks to attack humans
and Jawas, hunt prey, and mark territory.

The Bowcaster is the weapon of choice of Wookiees. The
bowcaster fires powerful bolts of metal enveloped in energy pockets.
Wookiees are the only creatures that are strong enough can operate the
weapon. A self-cocking attachment allows creatures weaker than Wookiees
to fire them. Chewbacca's
bowcaster has a automatic-recocking system. The bowcaster has a limited
rate of fire and a slow recharge rate.

A thermal detonator is a very powerful explosive device
that is shaped like a sphere. Once activated, an internal fusion
reaction starts within the device which eventually grows into a deadly
explosion. Princess Leia Organa,
disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh, used a thermal detonator to
negotiate the bounty for the wookiee,
Chewbacca. This
earned the respect of Jabba the
Hutt for such a fearless act and earned a sizable bounty.

A vibro ax is a vibrating, bladed melee weapon equipped
with an ultrasonic generator, which vibrates the blade thousands of
times per second. These vibrations increase the damage inflicted
tremendously. Many of Jabba's
guards wielded these weapons.

use these elctromagentic pulse weapons to incapacitate droids. The
weapon emits a smoky blast of energy that envelops its victim in a haze
of electric blue haze.

The E-Web blaster is a very powerful blaster rifle capable of penetrating
the armor plating of snowspeeders.
The weapon is mounted on a autocushion tripod, requires a lengthy setup
time, and two gunners to operate effectively. Nevertheless, it can

Palace and was used to reach the throne room. Luke Skywalker used a
similiar weapon to disable an AT-AT
walker.

sending a deadly jolt through their armor. General Grievous and his

shoot deadly concussive projectiles at their targets. They used both
hand-held and turret-based forms of the weapon.
